Lord of the Vampires (Royal House of Shadows #1)By Gena ShowalterOnce upon a time…the Blood Sorcerer vanquished the kingdom of Elden. To save their children, the queen scattered them to safety and the king filled them with a need for vengeance. Only a magical timepiece connects the four royal heirs…and time is running out.
Nicolai the Vampire is renowned for his virility, but in a cruel twist of fate “The Dark Seducer” has become a sex slave in the kingdom of Delfina—stripped of his precious timepiece and his memory. All that remains is a primal need for freedom, revenge—and the only woman who can help him.
When the wanton vampire summons Jane Parker, she is helpless to obey. She's drawn to his dark sexuality and into his magical realm. But for this human, all is not a fairy tale. For saving Nicolai could mean losing the only man she's ever craved...
In this debut
book, Nicolai, AVamp Prince finds himself in a sex slave “bazaar”, (OMG where do
they come up with this fantasies) In Delfina, "a mythical kingdom without age or time." Then an ugly witch
princess bought him from this market for her personal use. Left without
memories and no sense of time, Nicolai had to bide his time. Worst he had to unwillingly service both sisters… while waiting for his time to wreak his
revenge! Meanwhile, from a land beyond beyond, in a place where time still
exists, a cabin in the human realm to be précised, Jane Parker, a woman he’d met only by chance, in his Prison/dungeon- seemed to be his only salvation/ a way to escape his
torment! How can he get to her? Enslaved In
chains, covered with only a loincloth, no memories, how can he get to his savior?
This book was one
crazy ride and I enjoyed every minute of it. I love the originality and the
retelling of an age-old tale. Plus anything Gena Showalter, equals action
packed, thrilling, enthralling, humorous and most importantly sexy!!!! 4
stars

- Lord of Rage (Royal House of Shadows #2)
- By Jill Monroe
- Once upon a time...the Blood Sorcerer vanquished the kingdom of Elden.
- Princess Breena had been dreaming of her warrior lover when she was ripped from her Elden castle and thrown into a strange, dangerous realm. Lost and alone, she prayed for survival and vengeance for her stolen kingdom. She found both in a woodland cottage...in a dark bear of a man.
- The golden-haired beauty had eaten his food and slept in his bed when Osborn found her. Though he wanted to awaken his virgin princess to carnal pleasures, Breena wanted more—including his warrior skills. Skills the once-legendary mercenary had long buried. Now Osborn had a choice—risk his life or deny his princess her fairy-tale ending.
Lord of Rage, is the second volume in the new Royal House of Shadows series, a Gena Showalter, Jill Monroe, Jessica Anderson and Nalini Singh alliance. Jill Monroe writes this subsequent installment and I enjoyed her narrative. I also love the fact that she’d drawn her inspiration from goldilocks and the three bears. It was fascinating to read another author’s impart because this collaboration not only brings a fresh POV, by another brilliant mind, but it also facilitates excitement! This story centers Breena, princess of Elden. She’d always lived a shattered life even with three brothers. The only Chores she was tasked with growing up and pre- vanquish of her kingdom, Elden, were to marry for a future alliance with other kingdom and to remain a Virgin… until she’d met her dream lover, Osborn. Osborn is an Ursan warrior. He’d lived his life for one purpose, wreak revenge on the people of Elden for the Massacre of his people… until... he’d met Breena of Elden! Now, post vanquish Elden, Breena decides that her current chores are to survive, avenge and not stay a virgin! With those stances taken, Breena, her warrior and her brothers face the coming battle in hopes of reclaiming Elden. I enjoyed reading this book, and in the end, I wanted to start on the third book immediately! This book is fully of humor and fantasy laced with action it was enduring and sweet. And I loved every chapter! 4 stars!!!

Lord of the Wolfyn (Royal House of Shadows #3)By Jessica AndersenOnce upon a time…the Blood Sorcerer vanquished the kingdom of Elden. To save their children, the queen scattered them to safety and the king filled them with a need for vengeance. Only a magical timepiece connects the four royal heirs…and time is running out.
For practical Rhea Weston, nothing could explain how reading a sexy version of “Little Red Riding Hood” catapulted her into another realm—face-to-fang with the legendary wolf-creature who seduced women. A wolf who transformed into a dark, virile man . . .
Dayn cursed the Sorcerer that turned him wolfyn and damned him to a lonely fate. As a beast, he mated with women to gain strength. Strength he needed to rescue his royal palace. But as a man, he craved Reda’s heated, sizzling touch. With little time left, Dayn had to either embrace his wolf to safe his kingdom…or fight to save his woman.
Lord of wolfyn, is the
third fraction of the Royal House of Shadows series, a Gena
Showalter, Jill Monroe, Jessica Anderson and Nalini Singh coalition. Jessica
Anderson wrote Lord of wolfyn and I must say her writing highlights afresh
impact to this collaboration. This story was inspired by little red riding
hood; the only difference is? Little
red had fallen in love with the wolf! And. yes, the wolf wanted to “eat” little
red, but not in a perilous way! Jessica
Anderson continues the journey to save Elden and I must say she did a good job
in her sequence of events. In this
chapter, Dayn, prince of Elden found himself in the realm of wolfyn after the hostile
take over of the kingdom by the blood sorcerer. Though, before his journey
begins it is essential that Dayn waits for the guide his father had promised
him, and most importantly, Dayn must face his true self if he truly was to
succeed in his journey. Consequently Dayn waited and waited. It took 20 years for his guide to show
up! Only, his guide wasn’t at all a map or a shuttle, but a beautiful red
headed woman, Reda! This was my least favorite book in the series so far, yet,
I am still hooked and I can’t wait for the fourth and final installment. 3
stars!!!!
