Karen is a new author I stumbled upon and I have been addicted to her book since then. She is my feel good drug and I hope she keeps on writing. This is the debut book in the series and I must say... there are lots of mature lingo and lots of sexual intt’s a pretty good read and very comical… I caught myself LOL!... but then again Karen knows how to describe horny-ness and she is well versed in sex.
And I love it!!
I adore historical romances and this is a story about Sixteenth Century - Sidheach (Sid-hawk) James Lyon Douglas is known as Hawk, a well-known lover to numerous women. His sensuality just trickled off the entire Book! "There is not a woman I can not have." He bragged. Twentieth Century - Adrienne de Simone has had enough of good-looking men. She had sworn off beautiful men forever... due to an almost deadly relationship! Then a best friends ( GRIMM) wished upon a star … for a woman who… Independent, sexy, beautiful, man hating 20th century Adrienne found herself the hock in a game between the mortals and the fae! She was plunge back in time to the sixteenth century where she is to be wed to the man who is the very archetype of everything she has sworn off in men.

Hawk, every woman’s fantasy… he had NEVER heard the word NO! From any mortal or fey… alike AND Adrienne de Simone who HATES beautiful man/ i.e. Hawk!!! What a laugh, a story that will bring both joy and tears… 4 stars****

Grimm, Hawks’ best friend…. Is the Front-runner in this book.I am a huge fan of Karen Marie Moning and each time I find a novel of hers that I haven't read, I lose myself in her books for days at a time. Meaning right after book 1, I started book 2 immediately.
'To Tame a Highland Warrior' is the second chapter in the 'Highlander' series. It all stared when Gavrael McIllioch (aka Grimm) is... every inch a chap. Got a letter from his past!
Grimm has a major secret that is about to be exposed! He's determined to escape his fate and tries to erase all memories of his past. But… he can’t forget is Jillian. Jillian St. Clair was an amusing character. She's 21 (old Maid back in her century) and has never been betroth… As a young woman Jillian never wanted anyone, but …. The only man who seems to make her livid and scorching all at the same time. I liked the sexual tension amid Jillian and Grimm.
This series is a MUST read. I recommend it to everyone and once you start it you'll more than agree. 5 stars

I read KMM Fever series, which is epic by the way and I KNOW is exceptionally good & I highly recommend them. I would recommend that fans whom loved the fever series should also read these highlander series … in the correct reading order!

With the history lesson covered!!!! I must say that this was a pleasant book. Gratifying and comical and it kept me turning pages. I really enjoy the fact that KMM's leading ladies tend to be very intellectual and adept. It's nice to see that in romances. Drustan McKelter… scrumptious, sexy, single male until Gwen! ~~~ With that entire S’s he is also a man with an incorruptible heart! a nice guy too. He had always ached for a woman to be fond of and understand him… but love??? He’d thought impossible! I liked parts of Scotland and the historical aspects, druid lore and the physics and science aspect are all mind-boggling and something to ponder. Steamy and sexy… yes!!!! But the love relationship is vanguard. KMM Is brilliant indeed! 5 stars!!!!

The Immortal Highlander was a beyond doubt a breathtaking read. I haven’t chuckled, giggled, snickered, guffawed, have hysterics, and laughed out loud in a book like this for a long time. I recommend this to anyone who hasn’t read it.

I Love KMM's books!
This Highlander Series has been a constant go-to selection for me to re-read, for years. I adore her intriguing characters and can always fall back into the interesting stories of her couples. Great story telling never gets boring! My favorite book would still be The Dark Highlander, but The Immortal Highlander comes in at a close second. What prompted me to re-read this time was the fact my friend borrowed all my Fever Series books, thus I wanted to get caught up with the mischievous beginnings of Darroc, who eventually becomes the dark Lord & Master (I'll stop right there for those not up-to-date in the Fever Series).
