Series of unfortunate events, backstabbing, betrayal love, lust and twist!!! It was a heart-pounding ride… and I liked it! Walking with Shadows by Julieanne Lynch is the second book in the series and I must say it was a good escape. Poor Giselle! Our sweet heroine can’t seem to catch a break… worst Giselle still doesn’t know whom to trust! We all know G, is pregnant… being pregnant, being on the most wanted list in the sups world and losing the lover she willingly chose is still weighing her down… yet she chose to persevere! She got to see her parents, and she is also growing stronger in her new position and with the help of Antoine, Giselle believes that may be things are starting to look up… and she could protect herself, until the very last chapter… what a cliffhanger! I liked it! Get curious…

This book is a bit dark and on the gothic side and I loved it. The action, humor, and twist in this book keep you enthralled and engrossed! And I was!!! It was a good read! If you want a book that keeps you guessing and keeps your pulse racing then this is the book!!! I can’t wait for the next installment in this series, walking shadows
