Avenger's Angel Lost Angel # 1 By Heather Killough-Walden

Title: Avenger’s Angel
Author: Heather Killough- Walden
Series: Lost Angel # 1
Publisher: Signet
Paperback: 392
Publication Date: November 1st 2011
When four female angels were created for the archangels Michael, Gabriel, Uriel and Azrael, a chaos spurned by jealousy erupted, and the archesses were secreted to Earth. The four favored archangels followed, prompting a search that has lasted millennia. But for Uriel, the former Archangel of vengeance, the search ends the moment he lays eyes on Eleanor Granger, his one true archess. Can he protect her from the danger lying in wait for her - and win her heart?
Avenger's Angel is an unbelievable addition to the paranormal romance genre, with super “hot” Archangel and a devoted gorgeous heroine. The world is absorbing and the action is fast-paced. I can’t wait to read the second chapter in this series. For a debut book, it was awesome!
From the moment I started reading this book I was captivated! Heather Killough- Walden has the exceptional ability to alter apparently ordinary sight into moments of unadulterated suspense and fascination. I loved it!
Avengers Angel is about Uriel, the Angel of Vengeance. Currently, he is a famous actor. Though, for two thousand years, Uriel and his three Archangel Brothers have been desperately searching for their promised Archeses, their soul mates created by the “old man” as a reward for their devotion. But, the four brothers aren’t the only ones looking for the four women. Samael, a rogue powerful Angel wants to covet one of Archeses, anyone of them will do.  Why? For love? For what?  Samael wants to make an Arches HIS! No matter what!  Consequence, be damned!
When Uriel and Samael find Ellie (An Arches) Samael fights for Ellie’s … er… erm, okay I just don’t know! And Uriel fights to win Ellie’s Love. Ellie is Uriel’s but Samael will hear none of it, and he isn’t troubled to play foul by using his powers to influence and seduce Ellie to choose him instead of her proposed mate, Uriel. I love the twist and the originality of this book and the ending was mind- blowing!  Killough Walden has written a story that’s completely matchless and makes for a mesmerizing read. It will be a long wait until the next book.
