The Initiation and The Captive, Part I (The Secret Circle #1-2)By L.J. Smith
The circle's power has lured her home
Forced to move from sunny California to gloomy New England, Cassie longs for her old life. Even so, she feels a strange kinship to a terrifying group of teens who seem to rule her school. Initiated into the coven of witches that's controlled New Salem for hundreds of years, she's drawn into the Secret Circle, a thrill that's both intoxicating and deadly. But when she falls for the mysterious and intriguing Adam, Cassie must choose whether to resist temptation or risk dark forces to get what she wants—even if it means that one wrong move could ultimately destroy her.
The Captive, Part II and The Power (The Secret Circle #2-3) By L.J. Smith
CAUGHT IN THE STRUGGLE BETWEEN GOOD AND EVIL...
Cassie has joined the most alluring-and deadly-in-crowd imaginable. But power comes with a price, and it's more dangerous than she knows. Torn between the dueling desires of the two leaders of the Secret Circle, she must ultimately choose between saving all of the New Salem, and her own dangerous love for bewitching Adam, which threatens to tear the circle apart. In the ultimate battle between good and evil, will Cassie's supernatural powers be strong enough to lead the coven out of danger? Or will she fall prey to the dark forces within?
...WILL SHE SACRIFICE HER LOVE FOR THE CIRCLE TO SURVIVE?
The Initiation Book One
As a
replacement for of vampires, this series focuses on a coven of teen witches in
the town of New Salem. Cassie just moved to town because her mom told her to,
without knowing why. Worst it was a time in her life when she’d just met a guy,
who she spent less than an hour with, not knowing his name, yet she believes he
was hers! New Salem became Cassie’s new… ahh home. Trying to belong she quickly
finds out that her new school is ruled by a peculiar “club” made up of scholars
who all live on the same street as Cassie. Shortly Cassie realizes that the
club is made up of witches! Now
what? And who is the boy she can’t seem to get out of her mind? The Secret
Circle is about witches. It focuses on Cassie and her move to New Salem and circle
of witches who has been in the town since the beginning! I am a big fan of LJ
smith and her books are always interesting and blissful. She is a talented
writer, so talented that this series of hers is the second to become a TV
series. Need I say more? Good book! 4 stars!!!!!
The Captive Book Two
Cassie has become the 12th member of the circle, she fits in, and she has friend as close to her as her own blood. But she isn’t truly happy! The boy she saved and wants, Adam belongs to her best friend and adopted sister Diana, her coven leader…. Worst one of her new sister Faye, is blackmailing Cassie, because she witness Cassie kissing Adam, Diana’s Boyfriend… Drama! Not wanting to hurt Diana further, Cassie decides to become Faye’s captive… doing horrid things just to keep Faye quiet! Also someone is killing innocent in their town and the coven suspects that they might have unleashed something they should have never touch!!!! In the end, someone precious to Cassie lost her life and Cassie is forced to come clean with her coven and damn the consequences! All of Smith's characters are very abundantly fashioned. This story is exhilarating and attention grabbing. At its hub, it's about Cassie knowing who she is. It just so happens that she's from a long line of witches. And Strong Witch at that!!! Most powerful, if I may quote!

The Power Book
Three
The Power, the
final book in The Secret Circle trilogy offers a pleasing and compelling
conclusion to the overall plot of the series. The circle's battle against Black
John, the evil manipulative POS…! Plus, it offers some surprising twists and
eventually delivers the action fans have been waiting for. Cassie’s finally,
gets the desire she so wanted. Adam! Though, fans may think the way this ended
was too perfect, but being well versed in Smith’s writing, the author has two
rules, the soul mate principle (silver cord that entwines) and she always has a
happy ending, no matter what. Which is why I love her books, the best escape
EVER! 5 stars and I loved it.
